Man U denies it has received a bid offer from Qatar

LONDON - Manchester United has insisted that they were not for sale, despite claims that oil-rich Qatar is prepared to pay up to two billion pounds.
Rumours of a 1.5 billion pound bid by Qatar Holdings, owned by the Gulf nation’s royal family, first surfaced a month ago.
But, according to the Daily Star, the Old Trafford club said there had been no offer and American owners, the Glazer family, were not interested in a takeover deal at any price. (ANI)
