LOS ANGELS (GaeaTimes.com) — Travis Pastrana has bagged yet another Free style Gold Medal. This is Pastrana’s seventh haul. Pastrana was awarded his 7th Moto X Freestyle gold medal on Thursday night at Los Angeles. He won his forth medal in 2003 at the same place.
Pastrana was leading right from the beginning. His first three runs included relatively stock tricks like a nac nac backflip and an Indian air backflip, but it was his creative use of the course that really added flavor to his act. Pastrana threw backflips off the smallest features and used the wallride to spectacular effect. He easily gained eight or more feet than his competitors.
Levi Sherwood, 18 year old chap from New Zealand was the only rider to challenge Pastrana, coming within two points on his second run, but his score wasn’t enough.
Travis Alan Pastrana was born in October 8, 1983, in Annapolis, Maryland, USA. He is a motorsports competitor and stunt performer who has won championships and X Games gold medals in several events. His victorious journey includes supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross, and rally racing.
Thursday night’s medal gave him an astonishing 16 total X Games medal count altogether in both Moto X and Rally Car Racing. Pastrana will also be taking part in Rally Car Racing and SuperRally on Saturday, as well as Moto X Speed and Style on Sunday.
