Lorenzen Wright’s Funeral Held at Memphis

MEMPHIS (GaeaTimes.com) - Thousands of friends, fans and family members gathered at Memphis to bid a last farewell to former player, Lorenzen Wright. Lorenzen Wright’s funeral was held at the FedExForum on Wednesday.

Wright, 34 was murdered on July 28 and his body was found in the woods. His murder is still an unsolved mystery and the police claims that it is a homicide.

Hundreds of fans and family members gathered for Wright’s funeral. The crowds remembered the man who was charitable, gentle and a passionate basketball player.

The mourners, who were in total disbelief at the sudden death of Wright, moved slowly with the procession. Wright’s six children and ex-wife were in the procession, trailed by his father, Herb Wright. His mother, Deborah Wright, also attended the last journey.

Lorenzen Wright’s funeral marked the end of a great player and an honorable man. Surely it was a great loss for Memphis.
