Ben Henderson Fails To Win Last WEC

SAN FRANCISCO (GaeaTimes.com)- Last night’s fight between Ben Henderson and Anthony Pettis saw the latter coming out victorious after the former failed to succumb to the final moment kick of Anthony Pettis. It was the last WEC fight as after this the fighters will once again retire back to the world of the UFC for their titles. Those present to witness the match said that the two fighters for most of the time took each other on their backs. It was in this way that the two went on to secure finishings for themselves.
It is being said that the five rounds of the fight continued like this. At the final round of the fight Anthony Pettis went for some power packed shots against Ben Henderson. Desperate to win he launched a serious attack on him. Ben Henderson on the other hand went for take downs and was seen preferring the top position for a suitable attack upon his rival. Ben Henderson chose to give some strikes from the top and was seen succeeding in his attempt. However, ultimate winner Anthony gave some better shots on the feet. The fight attained every element for excitement and as a result the crowd had absolutely no chance to rest.
Anthony Pettis went on to dash the hopes of all the Ben Henderson fans as he gave a fall moment kick to Ben Henderson. Henderson somehow had managed to survive the kick but alas the final bell rung! With the sound all his dreams were crushed and his fans were torn amidst despair. The winning kick from Anthony Pettis had come when only a single minute was left for the fight to get over. Anthony Pettis now will face the winner of the fight between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard.
