LAS VEGAS - Women playing football in their underwear gave red-blooded males a reason to switch over during half time at the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The thrilling American Football contest between the Philadelphia Passion and the Los Angeles Temptations had viewers scrutinizing the action more closely than usual.
At one point one of the players’ knickers nearly came off as the game sparked into life.
The event drew millions of viewers worldwide and this year’s match was the Lingerie Bowl’s eighth outing.
It took place at the Thomas and Mack Centre at the University of Las Vegas in Nevada and was a hard fought battle - with the Temptations losing 25-26 to the Passions.
The game first aired during Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004. It is played by women dressed in only helmets, shoulder pads, elbow pads, knee pads, garters, bras, and panties.
In the past the special has also featured top celebrities including Jenny McCarthy, Dennis Rodman and Traci Bingham. (ANI)
