Gertrude “Luna” Vachon Dies Aged 48

LAS VEGAS (GaeaTimes.com)- On Friday, former World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler Gertrude “Luna” Vachon breathed her last aged 48. The news of the death of the former wrestler was confirmed to media sources both by her close friends and family members and by the World Wrestling Entertainment organization that issued a statement declaring the news of the death Gertrude “Luna” Vachon. As per reports, the wrestler was found dead at her mother’s place where she was living for some time now. The exact cause of death was not revealed to media sources.

Gertrude “Luna” Vachon was one of the most well known faces in World Wrestling Entertainment and was known by the nickname of “Daughter of Darkness”. On Friday as the news of the death of the wrestler spread, tributes and condolence messages for the family of Gertrude “Luna” Vachon started flooding. Brian Heffron, who is better known to his fans as “The Blue Meanie” posted message in a social networking site remembering Gertrude “Luna” Vachon as a “den mother” who had guided him in his initial days in WWE. Mentioning that the lady was both tough and gentle at the same time, the wrestler added that the death of such a personality “hurts”.

Another person who voiced his grievance for the untimely death of Gertrude “Luna” Vachon was Mick Foley who said to a media source that his family shared a personal relationship with Gertrude “Luna” Vachon and that he is left “heartbroken” by the news. Mick Foley mentioned that he had talked to Gertrude “Luna” Vachon only last month and that he could not get in terms with the fact that he would not be able to listen to her voice any more.
