NASHVILLE (GaeaTimes.com)- The Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Chuck Cecil is facing spotlight lately for reasons that is sure to leave his team rather embarrassed. After Tennessee Titans were defeated by the Denver Broncos during Sunday night’s showdown, it was not the dismal performance of the Titans that became the talk of the town. Sunday night’s clash between the two teams took a rather interesting turn when during the second quarter, the Titans defensive coordinator displayed the middle-finger gesture in utter frustration after his team was called for a penalty. However, the fact that Chuck Cecil did not realize while venting out his frustration was that the camera was on during the match due to which his gesture was caught on camera!
The rather unflattering image of Chuck Cecil showing his middle-finger to the officials of the match unfortunately that has been caught on camera has sparked a fresh controversy with speculations running ripe about whether the Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator would be penalized for his action. However, Chuck Cecil’s reaction to the entire controversy that has been generated by his act of anger has not been available to the media as yet. Insiders have emphasized that the Titans defensive coordinator would have to face a fine from the National Football League for showing his disdain against the officials while Sunday’s match was on.
Chuck Cecil’s showing the single-fingered salute to the officials of the game is reminiscent of Titans owner Bud Adams reaction during a game against Buffalo Bills in which the latter had made an similar gesture. Bud Adams was fined $250,000 by the NFL for his actions.
