NEW YORK CITY (GaeaTimes.com)- It was probably the most humiliating day for the New York Jets, as their respected strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi, indulged in an act that was not only unsportsmanlike, but also disgraceful for the goodwill of the team. He tripped of Miami Dolphin’s cornerback, Nolan Carroll, while the latter was trying to cover a punt on the sidelines, when only 3:11 minutes were left in the third quarter.

The entire team was shocked with the allegation and were far more disappointed when the video substantiating his notorious act, created a rave all over the internet. Jets spokesman Bruce Speight assured that the team is looking for an appropriate next step, and the coach may be subjected to severe discipline by the team and NFL. Nolan Carroll had to suffer from a knee injury after the act. However, he could also limp off the field under his own power and get back to the field after going through the first aid treatment. Dolphins inside linebacker Channing Crowder was too offended with this act and said that they are cheaters and can do anything that they feel like. However, he was also very happy by the end of the game, as they could take a revenge from the Jets by defeating them with a score of 10-6. He also accused the old coach saying that he should be ashamed of himself for conducting himself in such an undignified way, at an old age. Had Sal Alosi done the same thing on him, he would have broken his legs.

Sal Alosi, after the match confessed his mistake and said that he is ready to face the consequences, for his act was inexcusable and unsportsmanlike. He accepted the responsibility and is even ready to face the punishments. Dolphins defensive end Kendall Langford wants the coach to be fined. However it is only the Jets and the NFL who are entitled to decide his punishment.
